National Institute of Women Child & Youth Development: National Institute of Women Child & Youth Development as the Facilitating NGO is one of the implementing partner of Tejaswini programme supported by Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) & International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). Since 2011, NIWCYD has its presence with programme Tejaswini throughout Vidharbha region comprising 11 districts and 25 Talukas. A total 27 cluster level federation offices were established which are known as Community Managed Resource Centres (CMRCs). A total 832 villages comes under the coverage area of Tejaswini programme.

Programme Tejaswini: The overall goal of Tejaswini programme is to empower the women through economically, socially and politically. For the attainment of this broader objective, the organisations of women are formed and strengthened in at three level like Self Help Groups (SHGs), Village Level Committees (VLCs) & its apex body as Community Managed Resource Centres (CMRCs) as the federation. Each community managed resource centre (CMRC) will exist as a self reliant body to manage its village level institutions (SHG/VLC) and capable to meet the economic progress of its members through strengthening the groups.
